AppleTV+ has a big slate upcoming these next few months with the third and final season of Ted Lasso leading the way. However, when it comes to thrillers, AppleTV+ seems to have found a lane and will aim to add another major awards contender to its ranks with its long in-development series The Last Thing He Told Me which just released its first trailer.

The Last Thing He Told Me follows Hannah (Jennifer Garner), a woman who works together with her 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) in order to locate her husband and find out the truth on why he's mysteriously disappeared. Hannah and Bailey work together to unravel the secrets laid forth by Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) after they're both left by themselves to find him or face whatever outcome may await them if they don't.

The series is produced by Reese Witherspoon by her Hello Sunshine banner and adapted the best-selling novel from Laura Dave. Dave has teamed with her Hollywood husband Josh Singer (Spotlight, The Post) to write the series for AppleTV+ with an all-star team of female directors that include Lila Neugebauer, Deniz Gamze Erguven, Daisy Von Scherler Mayer and Olivia Newman.

Check out the trailer below for The Last Thing He Told Me! The miniseries stars Jennifer Garner (Alias, 13 Going on 30), Angourie Rice (The Nice Guys, Mare of Easttown), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones, Oblivion), as well as Aisha Tyler, Geoff Stults, David Morse and Victor Garber. The Last Thing He Told Me begins streaming on AppleTV+ on April 14.
