It seems
that Ocean’s Eight has found its last
lady for what could be the biggest heist film of 2017. According to Variety,
Sarah Paulson has joined as the last member of the all-female team up
blockbuster. Paulson really broke out this year thanks to her recurring roles
on American Horror Story, but more so
for portraying Maria Clark on The People
v. O.J. Simpson for which she is Emmy-nominated.
Paulson
is joining a fantastic ensemble of actresses for this project directed by Gary
Ross (The Hunger Games, Pleasantville). She is set to join
Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter,
Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina in the movie.
The cast
behind this film makes me more than excited for this film’s release. Paulson
was the best part of one of my favorite shows this year in The People v. O.J. Simpson. It’s great that she’s being cast in big
features now and she’s getting the recognition she deserves for her tremendous
work. Paulson is set to work on Ryan Murphy’s next television show for FX,
titled Feud alongside Jessica Lange,
Susan Sarandon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stanley Tucci and Alfred Molina.
