Day by day, Netflix is growing to be the number one television content powerhouse there is. It’s because of this that they want to continue to build even more by making diverse programming that spans all genres, niches and audiences. If you wanted to get your older parents or even grandparents involved in this, you might’ve started them off with Grace and Frankie; the comedy series that stars legendary actresses, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Now, there’s another series that could fit under that category.

The upcoming comedy series, The Kominsky Method has dropped its first trailer over the weekend and I have to add it to my list of shows I’m excited about. From the mind of Chuck Lorre, whose responsible for comedy series such as Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory; the series follows two best friends through their ups and downs in their later years in Los Angeles. Michael Douglas plays a once-famous actor who is now running his own acting school and Alan Arkin as his longtime agent.

Having the dynamic between two extraordinary Oscar-winning actors bringing this show to life gives you more reason to watch. I think the trailer is filled with enough laughs that I’m intrigued in what Lorre has crafted with Douglas and Arkin. Check out the trailer below for The Kominsky Method which also stars Lisa Edelstein, Emily Osment, Graham Rogers, Danny DeVito and Ann-Margret. The eight-episode first season premieres on Netflix on November 16th.
