Ever
since we first reported the casting for Goodbye,
Christopher Robin, I’ve been excited about the prospect of the biopic based
on A.A. Milne, the man who created Winnie-the-Pooh and his world of friends.
Today, we have the first trailer for the movie which you could see below!
The
movie, set in the aftermath of WWI, Goodbye,
Christopher Robin follows the life of Milne and his son, Christopher Robin,
who created the legendary storybook characters and helped Milne with his
post-war sadness. It’s based on a true story and looks to show a visually
stunning and heartwarming story of the author of one of the most beloved
children’s franchises ever. It looks to have a lot of similarities to Finding Neverland, which told the story
of the making of Peter Pan and looks to be just as great as that movie.
Check
out the trailer below for Goodbye,
Christopher Robin! The movie stars Domhnall Gleeson, Margot Robbie, Kelly
MacDonald and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. It opens in the UK in September and in the
United States on November 10th.
