Chadwick
Boseman is the king of the moniker of biopics. After portraying Jackie Robinson
and James Brown in 42 and Get on Up, respectively, he’ll be
playing Thurgood Marshall in the upcoming drama, Marshall. We have the first trailer for you below!
The
story follows the earlier days of Thurgood Marshall before he fought the Brown
v. Board of Education and became the nation’s first African-American Supreme
Court justice. It looks to be a hell of a movie and another great role for
Boseman. Marshall is obviously a very compelling figure and since he’s being
portrayed by one of the best black actors in the industry today, it should be a
really solid film. Plus, the rest of the ensemble isn’t too shabby either.
Check
out the trailer below for Marshall! The
movie stars Chadwick Boseman, Josh Gad, Sterling K. Brown, Kate Hudson, Dan
Stevens and James Cromwell. Marshall
hits theaters on October 13th.
