While
I’m quickly working on getting out my list of most anticipated movies out to
you guys as soon as possible, I can confirm that Logan is definitely on the
list and for good reason. The potential last time we can see Hugh Jackman on
screen as Wolverine is heart breaking to some but with a first trailer like the
one we saw, it could all be worth it. Today, 20th Century Fox
released the second and final trailer for Logan
that has a different focus than the X-Men mainstay.
Jackman
has been one of the greatest actors to portray a comic book character over the
years but this trailer has more of a focus on who is predecessor is likely to
be, Laura Kinney, also known as X-23 in the comics. Logan is now grizzled and
grey and even Professor X is looking like he’ll meet his demise in this film
but this trailer showcases the true violence fans will see in this rated-R
superhero movie. It looks gritty, still has humor and you can feel good about
the possible passing of the torch from one man with claws to an adolescent girl
with “special abilities” just like Logan.
Check
out the trailer for Logan below! The
movie stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant,
Richard E. Grant, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Dafne Keen as X-23. Logan will open everywhere on March 3rd.
