With
Daredevil and Jessica Jones getting their own shows, it means that there are
only two heroes left to get their own shows on Netflix to form the long awaited
The Defenders series. Now, thanks to
Comic-Con, we have teaser trailers for those other two heroes, Luke Cage and
Iron Fist.
Both
trailers are very different style-wise as Luke
Cage (Mike Colter) is supported by “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” by the late, Wu-Tang
Clan rapper, Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Within the preview, we see bullets bouncing off
the impenetrable man and watch him kick ass and take names. This isn’t our
first time seeing Cage though, as he was in multiple episodes from Season 1 of Jessica Jones.
Iron Fist has a more calming and
mysterious tone to it, but we start to get a sense of what we can expect from
the series that follows the martial artist/superhero. We learn that after a
plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) is taken in by monks and trained to be a
legendary fighter.
