Marvel’s
next Avengers film subtitled, Infinity War, will no longer be told in
two parts as it was previously announced. According to The
Wrap, it was a schedule change from Disney late on Friday that said that
the second film in the planned two-parter would no longer be called Avengers:
Infinity War Part II, instead it has been renamed as of now as Avengers Untitled.
Avengers: Infinity War is planned to be
released on May 4th, 2018 and has The Russo Brothers directing. The
second film, now titled Avengers Untitled
for the time being, also will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and will hit
theaters as planned on May 3rd, 2019.
The
films were supposed to start shooting in November and are expected to shoot
back to back. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (Captain America: Civil War) are expected to write the script for
the two films.
