Here’s
a pleasant surprise, we luckily have been given the first trailer for Justice League at Comic-Con today! The
film has been long anticipated by DC Comics fans, especially since The Avengers release all the way back in
2012. The DC Cinematic Universe began to take shape just this year when we saw Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
which included Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman (and maybe some appearances by
some other heroes). This trailer though gives us our very first in-depth look
at all of the heroes which make up the superhero team called the Justice
League.
I have
to be honest, I really wanted to like this trailer but after two viewings, I’m
not sold. BvS was a mess and this
didn’t clean much up for me personally. Affleck and Gadot look great as does
Momoa as Aquaman but Miller’s take on Barry Allen looks too over the top nerdy
for me. Fisher’s Cyborg seems way too CWish in terms of special effects
(granted it’s early in the filming process), also, the humor doesn’t seem to
hit like I would’ve liked it to. But again, that’s just my opinion.
The
superhero team-up film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal
Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as the Flash and Ray
Fisher as Cyborg. Along with the main heroes, the film also stars JK Simmons,
Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe. Justice
League will hit theaters on November 17th, 2017. Check out the
Comic-Con trailer below and comment your opinion on the preview!
