First trailer for 'Gifted' has Chris Evans trying to raise his prodigal niece

            It seems like ages when Marc Webb was one of the most desired up-and-coming directors due to his debut feature, 500 Days of Summer. Since then, he directed the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man franchise and though I did enjoy the first movie, the second film disappointed all audiences. Today though, we received the first trailer for his next movie, Gifted.

            It looks much more like his smaller, more stylized touch that we missed within the blockbusters. The film follows Frank Adler, a single parent trying to raise his niece, Mary, who is a 7-year old math prodigy. While Frank wants to continue to follow his late sister’s wishes to try and give Mary a normal childhood, his mother wants to enroll Mary in a special program for special students.

            Check out the trailer for Gifted below. The film opens on April 12^th, 2017 and stars Chris Evans, Jenny Slate, Octavia Spencer, Lindsay Duncan and McKenna Grace.
