First trailer for 'T2: Trainspotting' gives us a look at our favorite addicts 20 years later

It is trailers galore today as we’ve just received the trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the indie classic that grossed over $72 million, Trainspotting. The original 1996 film starred Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner, Robert Carlyle and Kelly Macdonald as was set in Edinburgh among the drug scene. The sequel, T2: Trainspotting, brings together the original cast for another crazy trip within Danny Boyle’s saga.

            Within the sequel we see that McGregor’s character Renton has returned home only to get himself in the same trouble he’s used to with his old pals on another drug-fueled adventure. I’ve never seen the first movie but I’ve heard great things and this movie looks like a ton of fun. I’m also a huge fan of Danny Boyle as I love both Slumdog Millionaire and Steve Jobs, two films he’s directed. T2: Trainspotting looks very stylized though and that could be a great thing.
