Larry David is one of the true legends in television
history. Whether it’s his creation of Seinfeld,
which is regarded as one of the greatest shows of all time, or his involvement as
a writer in Saturday Night Live, he
is a comedy genius. It’s also hard to rule out the HBO original series, Curb Your Enthusiasm which Variety
is now reporting will return for season 9 after a hiatus since 2011.
Curb is well-known and is one of the
best received HBO shows in the history of the premium network. The show follows
David as himself in a tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life. There has been 80
episodes of the series thus far which makes it the longest running HBO show of
all time.
There
aren’t any details in terms of when the show will air or casting news but as
soon as that information is known, we’ll share it with you. It’s certainly
exciting though when an icon by Larry David comes back to do another season of
the show.
