'American Gods' renewed at Starz for Season 2

As we
approach the third episode of the premiere season of the Starz series, American Gods, we have news of a
renewal. According to Collider,
the series based on Neil Gaiman’s novel adapted by Bryan Fuller has been
renewed for a second season.
The
press release released by the network states that over 5 million viewers tuned
into the premiere. No news yet on how many episodes the second season will
comprise of but Season 1 is set to have eight episodes. The ground-breaking
series places New Gods and Old Gods together in a mystical cinematic world. The
show joins The Missing, The White
Princess and Outlander as some of
the more popular drama series at Starz.
The
series airs on Sunday nights at 9 PM (ET) and stars Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane,
Emily Browning, Yetide Badaki, Pablo Schreiber, Crispin Glover, Orlando Jones
