James Marsh’s last directorial undertaking led his lead actor, Eddie Redmayne to an Oscar for his portrayal as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. His next film has just cast its two leads who are currently on some of their hottest streaks of their respective careers. According to Variety, Chris Pine and Michelle Williams will star in All The Old Knives.

All The Old Knives is based on the 2015 spy novel written by Olen Steinhauer and has Pine and Williams playing two former CIA operatives and lovers who meet to catch up only for the conversation to turn into a plane hijacking that ended in the death of all on board. It sounds like a steamy premise and one I wouldn’t be all that into if it wasn’t for the talent involved. Marsh got tremendous performances out of everyone in The Theory of Everything and Pine and Williams are coming off their most-recent turns in their 2016 films respectively.

Pine was as impressive as ever in the latest Taylor Sheridan-scripted western, Hell or High Water and now is headed towards blockbusters with his next two roles in Wonder Woman and Ava DuVernay’s, A Wrinkle in Time. Williams was also incredibly awe-inspiring for her role in Manchester by the Sea and has a rather intriguing upcoming slate herself. She’ll appear in The Greatest Showman, the musical biopic based on PT Barnum as well as Todd Haynes’ follow-up to Carol titled Wonderstruck with Julianne Moore. She’s also set to play Janis Joplin in a biopic and star in Ridley Scott’s next feature, All the Money in the World which begins shooting soon.
