Netflix
has become such an amazing smorgasbord of television that is has something for
everyone now. They’re now rapidly cornering the wrestling market not only with
their acquisition of Lucha Underground but also, the latest show from Jenji
Kohan (Orange is the New Black)
titled GLOW or Gorgeous Ladies of
Wrestling. Netflix dropped the first trailer yesterday and we have it here for

The
show stars Alison Brie as a broke actress in the 80’s looking to pay the bills
and achieve her dream of becoming a meaningful actress. That’s when she gets a
call from her agent for GLOW and is
immediately fascinated by the concept of the wrestling promotion that mixes “blood,
tits and storytelling”. This is a perfect first-look trailer at the latest from
Netflix and it looks like it’ll have plenty of humor and even some heart as
well.
