One
of the biggest Netflix original movies is right around the corner with David
Michod’s War Machine. The war satire
starring Brad Pitt will be released in just a couple of weeks and we have the
final trailer for you right here at Cinema Wave.
War Machine follows Pitt as decorated
U.S. general, Gen. Glenn MacMahon (based on Gen. Stanley McChrystal) who has a
level of confidence in the war in Afghanistan that is tarnished when brought
down by a journalist’s expose. The trailers have been incredibly funny and absurd
that it might just work. The fact that Pitt’s character is based on a real U.S.
general is terrifying but it sure makes for a good movie, we hope. It also
features one of the best ensemble casts of 2017 potentially so I’m definitely
excited for this film.

The film stars Pitt, Tilda Swinton, Ben Kingsley, Anthony Michael Hall, Topher
Grace, Will Poulter, Keith Stanfield, Emory Cohen, John Magaro, RJ Cyler and
Scoot McNairy. War Machine is
available to stream on Netflix starting on May 26th.
