First images for 'Atomic Blonde' showcase Charlize Theron fighting her way through the Cold War

            Charlize Theron has been in the spotlight quite a bit recently after her Oscar-worthy turn in Mad Max: Fury Road and her joining the Fast & Furious franchise in the upcoming eighth installment. However, Entertainment Weekly provided the first look at her and co-star James McAvoy in her next film, the Cold War action/thriller, Atomic Blonde.

            Atomic Blonde is adapted from a graphic novel titled, The Coldest City by one of the directors of the original John Wick film, David Leitch and follows Theron as Lorraine Broughton, a spy for MI6 who is sent to Berlin to take down a ring of crime lords who have just killed an undercover agent. These images along with the short teasers getting us prepped for the trailer dropping Friday are terrific. I wasn’t as excited to see a film with this premise but after these images and the little previews, I’m incredibly hyped to see this movie.
