Susan
Sarandon is currently killing it on TV with her role as Bette Davis in Ryan
Murphy’s new FX anthology series, Feud:
Bette and Joan. It seems that she’s also going to be joining another prestige
drama as Deadline
reports that the Oscar-winning actress is joining Showtime’s Ray Donovan.
Ray Donovan follows Liev Schreiber as a
professional fixer in Los Angeles and is employed by all the cities celebrities
to make their problems go away. Sarandon will join the show as Samantha
Winslow, a focused head of a movie studio. Sarandon will be a fantastic
contributor to the show joining another accomplished veteran like Jon Voight,
who plays Schreiber’s father on the show.
Sarandon
won her Oscar for Dead Man Walking
but has also been nominated four times prior. In addition to her film work, she
has earned four Emmy nominations, including her last back in 2010 for the HBO
original movie, You Don’t Know Jack.
Sarandon will be seen next in John Turturro’s movie, Going Places before appearing in Ray Donovan. Season 5 of the hit Showtime drama premieres this
summer.
