FX
has consistently been one of the best networks in cable television for a few
years now. With their anthology series’ thriving and coming off the series
premiere of Feud, the network unveiled
a new teaser for Season 3 of Noah Hawley’s Fargo.
The first two previews for the upcoming season have just been shots of
locations but this one gives a glimpse of some of the lead characters for the
series including Ewan McGregor in one of his dual roles as brothers.
McGregor
plays Emmit Stussy, “The Parking Lot King” of Minnesota and also his younger
brother, Ray Stussy, who we see in the trailer. Ray is a little less successful
than his brother and is a fat, down-on-his-luck parole officer seen within the
preview sitting alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s character at a diner. There’s
also a look at Carrie Coon’s character, the female lead of the third season.
Coon has done terrific work on television and film respectively with The Leftovers and Gone Girl. This teaser gets me giddy for the new season of Fargo
that hits the small screen sooner than you think.
Check
out the teaser below for Season 3 of Fargo!
This season stars McGregor, Winstead, Coon, David Thewlis, Scoot McNairy,
Michael Stuhlbarg, Shea Whigham, Jim Gaffigan and Thomas Mann. Fargo returns to FX on April 19th.
