New 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' trailer showcases the team saving the galaxy again

            We have gotten a good look at the Guardians of the Galaxy over the last couple of months in anticipation for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, maybe some more than others (talking about you Baby Groot). Luckily, the third and final trailer for the Marvel tentpole has been released and I think it’s the best trailer yet.

            Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 brings the crew back together for a mission to unravel the mystery of who Peter Quill’s father is. We get the answer to this question at the very end of the trailer in which we get our first look at Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet. The other thing of note is that we’ve seen three trailers and yet, there is still no clear villain. We get a better look at Elizabeth Debicki’s Ayesha, who could be the villain but there isn’t a larger indication like most other Marvel previews and I kind of like the mystery. This trailer was by far the most action-packed of any of the previous we’ve gotten for this film and even gave us a better look at the newest team members; Yondu, Mantis and Nebula.

The movie stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Kurt Russell, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff and Glenn Close. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens in theaters on May 5^th.
