New trailer for 'Baywatch' has Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron putting aside their differences to save "their" beach

            There’s always set trends in Hollywood but I don’t understand the fascination of turning TV shows of yesteryear into film adaptations. Yes, it worked gloriously with 21 Jump Street and then even better with the sequel, 22 Jump Street but that’s a testament to great talent producing. CHiPS which released everywhere today is written, directed by and stars Dax Shepard with Michael Pena playing his partner, and frankly, it looks like it’ll be one of the biggest bombs of the year. There is yet another high-profile movie being released later this year based on a television show and we have the newest trailer for you right here.

            Baywatch follows Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in an action/comedy romp in which they play lifeguards that get in way over their heads trying to take down a villainous businesswoman who is responsible for drugs and dead bodies washing up on “their” beach. The good news is, this looks like it could be one of the better comedies of the year as Efron and Johnson seem to have immaculate chemistry. Both have brought it consistently in the comedic realm, even Efron who has done terrific work in the Neighbors films along with Seth Rogen. I’m excited for this movie even more now as this trailer got the most laughs out of me from any of the previews I have seen thus far.
